Our provision and fees
We offer both funded and paid education and childcare, depending on each family’s eligibility, between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm, all year round, with the exception of 5 INSET days and Bank holidays. Please contact the Children centre or school office for details and current fees. This includes funded 30 hours for working families of 3-4 year olds.
To find out your eligibility for funded child care, please see the website
As a Leeds City Council school, we aim to be financially sustainable but understand the financial pressures on parents during a child’s early years. For this reason our fees will always be at a competitive rate and will be reviewed at least annually to ensure we are on track to maintain this fee level.

£24.00 per half day

Taking your free entitlement all year round
You can take your free entitlement all year round if you wish and just top it up to a full session. Our Children’s Centre Day care Manager, Charlotte Thornton can give you full details.
Wrap around Care
We also provide what is known as ‘wrap around’ care. This provides more hours of childcare on top of your free entitlement up to a full ten hour day or a 50 hour week. Further details of the cost for your individual needs are available from our Children’s Centre Day care Manager. You will always know what is included in our price and what you need to provide for your child. All meals drinks and snacks are included in your fees or grant funding. For children at school in the Reception class, a free breakfast club is available, plus a fee-paying an after-school club. Please see the web page for further details
All learning resources are free.
Your child’s profile is free to access and we do not charge for printing your child’s profile if you would like a paper copy.
We do not charge for materials for baking, using our centre library or craft projects. However, we would appreciate a small donation towards these activities where possible, eg 20 pence/ week.
Special programs including work with Opera North, Northern Ballet, and kids’ yoga are free.
Occasionally we may take the children on other outings which are normally partially funded by the school, but we ask for a parental donation towards transport and admissions costs
Parents are required to provide:
- Nappies and creams
- A sun hat
- At least one change of clothes (more if the child is potty training)
As an Early Years we use an online app called Evidence Me to make our observations and assessments. Evidence Me is an award-winning assessment, observation and reporting app. It shows the impact of children's learning by capturing learners' experiences, monitoring their and creating reports to share their progress.
As a team we aim to capture at least one individual observation of each child per week which can be shared with parents via email. This is a brilliant way to share what your child has been up to in setting. The app can also be used for parents to share a snapshot of their child’s achievements at home using the parent share option. It is simple to use and creates a straightforward link between home and setting.
