About the Role
As a KS2 Teacher at Castleton, you will:
- Lead a subject area or potentially a whole phase, shaping curriculum and teaching practises to inspire excellence.
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that promote creativity, curiosity, and purposeful learning.
- Play a pivotal role in embedding a culture of reading and writing, supporting our school improvement priorities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider community to support every child’s progress and well-being.
- Contribute to ongoing professional development and school-wide initiatives that foster inclusive, trauma-informed approaches.

About You
We are seeking a passionate and reflective professional who:

- Has experience teaching KS2 with a strong understanding of curriculum development and assessment.
- Is enthusiastic about leading a subject and/or phase and driving improvements collaboratively.

- Is eager to engage with the wider school community and contribute to a positive, inclusive culture.
- Values professional growth and is open to innovative approaches supported by ongoing CPD.
