We strive to ensure all children's needs are met in a variety of inspiring and innovative ways, for example through art, music, sport, interventions, and individual support both in and out of the classroom that is personalised for the individual. The class teacher has responsibility for ensuring that children with SEN can access learning in the classroom.
The Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, Jenny Darnell, oversees the quality of provision for children as they move through the school, assisting the class teacher in planning for their needs and involving outside agencies as and when necessary.
We work with many agencies and inform parents about appropriate provision regularly.
If you wish to discuss your child’s needs, please contact our SENCo, Jenny Darnell through the school office.
We have developed our SEND offer to meet the needs of children with Special Educational Needs or Disability (SEND) and it can be accessed through the following link.
